Shockening and sicking. Biden's supporters' very souls are at peril and there will be blood on their hands if he is elected.

Agreed, same here. Didn't have daycare for 6 months (at $2,300 a month), and our overall monthly spending is way down. In February, in a pure coincidence, I started some remote-work 1099 independent consulting (in addition to my normal W2 job) that added to the income. We've been very fortunate during this pandemic including the many, many, many hours spent with my 2 year-old daughter as we explored creeks among other fun activities. That has been by far the best part of the shutdown.

@Klaus said in Hey, Aqua! Another writing style question: It's completely fine to start a sentence with "plus". In fact, it's even preferable to having it in the middle, where it can cause ambiguities. Yeah, but it's Polish. So there's that.

@Horace said in The stock market crash based on nothing: Take one for the team Aqua. There are a lot of fine, decent people on this side that need that money for our second vacation homes. Know this, friend: as sure as the sun will come up tomorrow, as the Pope shits in the woods, as I know you have a D20 somewhere in your house, nothing I do in the next 14 days will have any economic impact on anything outside my immediate vicinity.

A boyhood hero. I’ll never in my life forget watching Seaver’s near perfect game on July 9, 1969. I was watching on a portable b/w TV set while my mom was serving me dinner, I was 11 years old. I watched that game, hanging on every pitch. I thought I was actually going to see a prefect game live on TV. (WOR TV channel 9. That was the Mets station, unIike WPIX channel 11 that broadcast the Yankees whom every true New Yorker loathed. ) Man I was such a baseball nerd kid. https://sabr.org/gamesproj/game/july-9-1969-tom-seavers-near-perfect-game/ https://m. Well we need test cases to settle things down. A bit of wild Wild West right now. Regulations will fix that, nothing better for social media to be subject to regulations. Let the progressives get a nice taste of their own regulatory medicine.

We really liked it. Good story, good characters, good effects. I’ve seen the 76 version but that was decades ago. It used some of John Ford’s documentary footage. This one didn’t but it did have John Ford as a very minor character.
